Science-Directory

De Science Division van de Dutch SCP Foundation is verantwoordelijk voor het onderzoek, analyseren en begrijpen van anomalieën. Deze afdeling werkt nauw samen met andere secties om de aard, oorsprong en werking van SCP's te ontrafelen.

Wetenschappers binnen deze divisie voeren experimenten uit, stellen theorieën op en schrijven rapporten die essentieel zijn voor veilige containments en verder begrip. Van biologische entiteiten tot ruimtelijke afwijkingen — de Science Division staat aan de frontlinie van kennis.

“A Bad Composition”

  • Class: Euclid
  • Clearance Level: 3
  • Description: A blood-written musical score that forces viewers to complete it using their own blood.

  • Containment Notes: Stored in a lightless, sealed chamber. Viewing strictly forbidden without Level-3 authorization and protective barriers.

SCP-035

“Possessive Mask”

  • Class: Euclid

  • Clearance Level: 3
  • Description: A porcelain mask that secretes corrosive fluid and takes control of anyone who wears it.
  • Containment Notes: Kept in a sealed, airtight case with constant fluid drainage. Interaction only through remote means. No personnel are to make physical contact.
SCP-093

“Red Sea Object”

  • Class: Euclid
  • Clearance Level: 4
  • Description: A red disk that, when used with a mirror, opens portals to devastated alternate realities.

  • Containment Notes: Stored in a secure vault. Mirror testing protocols require tethered explorers, continuous monitoring, and immediate retrieval procedures.

SCP-131-A

“Eye Pod A”

  • Class: Safe
  • Clearance Level: 2
  • Description: A small cyclopean robot that follows people it trusts and warns of threats.
  • Containment Notes: Free to roam low-security areas. Must not enter containment zones where its presence could interfere with dangerous SCP protocols.
SCP-173

“The Sculpture”

  • Class: Keter
  • Clearance Level: 3
  • Description: A hostile statue-like entity that moves at high speed when unobserved, killing by snapping necks.
  • Containment Notes: Kept in a locked cell. At least three personnel must maintain direct line-of-sight during any interaction. Blinking must be coordinated.
SCP-500

“Panacea”

  • Class: Safe
  • Clearance Level: 4
  • Description: A bottle of pills capable of curing any disease or poisoning.
  • Containment Notes: Each pill stored in separate, locked containers. Use requires O5 approval due to extreme rarity.

 

SCP-682

“Hard-to-Destroy Reptile”

  • Class: Keter
  • Clearance Level: 4
  • Description: Highly intelligent, hostile reptile with extreme strength, speed, and near-total regenerative abilities. Actively seeks to destroy life.

  • Containment Notes: Kept in an acid tank with multiple security layers. Breaches trigger site lockdown; termination requires O5 approval.

SCP-714

“The Jaded Ring”

  • Class: Euclid
  • Clearance Level: 3
  • Description: A ring that grants anomaly resistance but causes exhaustion and apathy.
  • Containment Notes: Stored in a cushioned, locked box. Personnel using it must be monitored for mental degradation and slowed response times.

 

SCP-1025

“Encyclopedia of Common Diseases”

  • Class: Euclid
  • Clearance Level: 3
  • Description: A book that induces symptoms of any disease within its pages upon reading.
  • Containment Notes: Kept in a locked archival cabinet. Reading prohibited without medical supervision and memetic hazard clearance.
SCP-1048

“Builder Bear”

  • Class: Keter
  • Clearance Level: 3
  • Description: A teddy bear able to create new SCP-1048 variants from surrounding materials—including organic tissue.
  • Containment Notes: Subject currently at large. Any 1048 sightings must trigger site lockdown. All variants to be contained or terminated on discovery.
SCP-1499

“The Gas Mask”

  • Class: Euclid
  • Clearance Level: 4
  • Description: A gas mask that transports the wearer to an alternate, hostile dimension.
  • Containment Notes: Stored in a secure locker. Testing allowed only with tracking equipment and armed escort due to risk of dimensional entities appearing.
SCP-3008

“Infinite IKEA”

  • Class: Euclid
  • Clearance Level: 3
  • Description: An IKEA store with an endlessly large interior and aggressive humanoid “staff.”
  • Containment Notes: Perimeter sealed under cover story. Civilians removed on discovery. Exploration restricted; recovered individuals to be debriefed and quarantined.
